Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee of this International Congress on Lipid and Atherosclerosis 2021 (ICoLA 2021), we would like to extend our warm welcome to all of the presenters and participants to this 10th iteration of this Congress, which is being held at the Conrad Seoul from September 10 to 11, 2021.

The ICoLA has become a premier congress for leaders within this field of lipid metabolism, and atherosclerosis since its beginning in 2012. This meeting gets to the heart of all matters in our current operating environment, bringing together the best people from around the world. We look forward to presenting you with a scientific exchange whose scope and quality are vast and draws on expertise from those working in academia and industry.

With the ongoing difficulties from the pandemic in 2020, we have taken a lot of time to consider how we will proceed with this year’s meeting and have decided to host it as a hybrid conference. Although the event will be held face-to-face in Korea, many researchers from abroad will be able to attend it online. Of course, it would be better if we meet in person, but even if we don't, we will prepare for active exchanges of sciences. We hope that excellent researchers from all over the world will continue to pay attention and participate.
